I'm a children's book illustrator with a love of animals and the natural world. Say Hi to Hedgehogs! (Walker Books, 2018.)

My debut picture book, Say Hi to Hedgehogs!, is published by Walker Books with a release date of March 1, 2018. This wee hedgehog sprang to life as part of my Master's degree project at Cambridge School of Art, and is now part of a Nature Storybook that combines a gentle story with lots of hedgie facts along the way (did you know that baby hedgehogs are called hoglets?). I've had a curiosity for wildlife since I was little, and I wanted to inspire that same feeling in others.
The book will also be released by Candlewick press in the USA and Canada on March 8, under the title Prickly Hedgehogs!

Kew Children's Guide (Bloomsbury, 2018. Author Catherine Brereton)

I was given the honour of illustrating Kew Gardens' new Children's Guide. I'd always wanted to go to the Gardens and got the perfect opportunity when researching this project; it's an incredible place! There are so many different areas to explore, and the glasshouses are on a scale I'd never seen before. This book is packed full of info about the plants, trees, places and wildlife at Kew Gardens, and has lots of activities and things to do as well. The guide will be released on March 8, 2018.

Usborne Nature Journal (Usborne, May 2018)

An illustrated write-in activity book - great for keeping track of things you've seen in the wild, or even your own nature stories! It has lots of starting points and prompts for ideas, as well as lots of info about wildlife around the world. Written by Rose Hall and Sarah Hull, and illustrated by myself and Briony May Smith. Released on May 3, 2018.
