10-2011 Commission: Socktopus
My illustrations have played a small part in the release of a new book! Socktopus, by Alice Yu, has just been released and looks into all aspects of sock knitting - something I wish I knew how to do! I was commissioned to draw various sources of sock yarns, from sheep to silkworms.

04-2011 Old Maiden Aunt Yarns commission
I recently completed a commission for Lilith of Old Maiden Aunt Yarns; Lilith hand-spins and dyes a beautiful selection of yarns in her studio on the West Coast of Scotland. She asked me to create some illustrations based on the creatures from Celtic folklore that inspired her 2011 Yarn Subscription Club.

07-2010 Big Wide World
On the 9th of July I proudly dressed up in silly clothes and collected my degree certificate in All Saint's Church in Maidstone. It's daunting, but I'm looking forward to the future!

In other news, improvements have been made to the site; clicking on the images in the galleries will now enable you to see a larger version. This feature should work on most browsers but works best in Firefox or Safari on a Mac. Enjoy! :)

The UCA Degree Show view was last night, and seemed to go down a treat. Next comes D&AD New Blood 2010...!

I now have a .co.uk of my very own...! Some artwork is up, but at the moment some images are smaller than I'd like. At some point soon I hope to enable one to view larger versions of each image.
